Kicking off Fall Families Weekend

Where: SJNMA Golf Course, Delafield WI 
Format: Best Ball Scramble (Fast/Easy/Fun!)



Spring Families Weekend is fast approaching! Just a quick reminder to get the early registration discount for the Parents Club Spring Golf Outing you must sign up by April 17th.  Don't play golf??  You can support the event by sponsoring a hole for your favorite Cadet or Company, making a donation or volunteering.   Forms are on ParentsWeb web forms and resources tab.  

This is a great way to kick off Fall Families Weekend out on the St John's Northwestern golf course with your Cadet, other families and alumni.  Play for: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place foursome.  One winner in each category: (men, women, and cadets) Longest Drive and Longest Putt
Friday, April 24th  8:00am continental breakfast served, 9:00 am shotgun start.  We will finish up our 9 hole round around noon.

Limited quantities--When they are gone, they are gone!!  This handmade shako hat is decorated in the spirit of the SJNMA parade dress uniform makes a great memento for you or your cadet.  With the feather, it stands approximately 6 inches tall.  The keepsake would look fabulous on a desk or as an ornament!  You can even have the back of the shako personalized with your cadet’s graduation year. 

Simply send an email to:  parentsclub@sjnma.org as soon as possible but no later than Friday, April 17th with your order.  With the reply email you authorize your payment of $20 per keepsake to be applied to your cadet account. Provide the following information in your reply email to order now:

Keepsake pickup is on Friday, April 24 (at Golf Outing) or Saturday, April 25th before noon at the Parents Club table.    Please make arrangements to have your order picked up on this date if you cannot be there personally.


This is a fundraising event sponsored by the Parents Club to raise funds that go directly back to events for the cadets.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Chicago March 14, 2015

For accountability reasons, all cadets must return to campus by Academy bus after the reception. Cadets may go on home leave Saturday evening, but must check out from campus.




Step 1     REGISTER with SJNMA  


  • A reception for cadets, families and alumni will be held at Plumbers' Hall after the parade. The cost is $10 per adult in advance and $15 at the door, which includes lunch, bus ride to and from the parade, and parking at Plumbers' Hall; $5 for children 10 and under. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to charge their cadet's account.

Step 2     Go to Chicago on Saturday, March 14th

9:00 a.m.         REGISTER on second floor of Plumbers’ Hall, 1340 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago. FREE PARKING is provided. Get your bus boarding pass and lunch ticket(s).

9:30 a.m.         GATHER in parking lot on the north side of Plumbers’ Hall. Board the buses – six buses reserved with A&B Bus Service. Buses will be marked with an SJNMA sign numbered one through six.

9:45 a.m.         FOLLOW cadet coaches to unloading area. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs and blankets on the buses.






11:00 a.m.       PROCEED SOUTH on marked walkway to north corner of Columbus Drive and East Jackson Dr. The SJNMA viewing area will be at the front of the Petrillo Music Shell.
                                               
12:30 a.m.       At the END OF THE PARADE, return to E. Jackson Dr. to load buses for return to Plumbers’ Hall.




1:00 p.m.         Return to Plumbers’ Hall for RECEPTION of food and beverages, and enjoy a special performance by members of The Pipes & Drums.  LUNCH COST is $10 per adult, and $5 for children 10 and under; cadets are free, $15 at the door.   •  All buses will be marked with SJNMA signs.
  • SJNMA guidon on corner of Columbus and Jackson will be the gathering area for all SJNMA supporters.
