A Day of Celebration
Sunday, December 14th
The Academy invites parents to join their cadet for dinner in Welles Dining Hall at 5:00 pm. This dinner serves as the Corps Christmas Party and is held after other special events that day (Promotion Ceremony, Winter Music Concert, Advent Lessons and Carols) that day. The Parents Club is also coordinating desserts for this meal and parents may participate. There is no cost for the dinner, but parents may make a donation to the Parents Club to help cover costs.
Lessons and Carols Holiday Desserts
Parents Club will be providing all of the desserts for the upcoming Lessons and Carols holiday dinner on Sunday, December 14th. We are over half way to our goal!! We are still looking for contributions either by baking specialties or donating funds to help us buy some of the international delicacies. Please contact Mary Plese at mplese624@gmail.com to offer your help. We will need volunteers to help set up the desserts and then to help with the clean-up and break down at the end of the dinner.
Handmade
Ornaments
Parents Club will be selling a limited number of handmade holiday
ornaments. The ornament is styled after
the SJNMA cadet in parade dress uniform.
Each handmade ornament will be sold for $15. See the eBugle for more details. Orders can be placed by sending an email
to parentsclub@sjnma.org. You can pick up your ornament at the Lessons
and Carols event on Sunday, December 14th after 4 pm in the rotunda. Money from sales will go towards a pizza
party for the cadet corps in February.
