Cadets are expected to be in class the entire morning and not leave until the 1pm time. Some of you have asked if it is possible to pick up your cadet on Saturday (so you drive during the day) and if they can return on Sunday, December 1st? According to 1SG Andrasic, Deputy Commandant, the latest you should plan to pick up your cadet is 10pm Friday Nov 22 and the earliest return should be on Monday, Dec 2nd after 2pm (1400 hours). If you need special arrangements outside of these times please contact residence life ofice immediately to make customer arrangements as staff will have to be brought in. The school officially is closed and all personal will be gone after Friday evening and only returning on Monday morning the 2nd.
Thank you to all the families that offered to host an international student. All cadets have a special place to spend the Thanksgiving Break. For those of you who have expressed an interest - please know that additional families are needed for the Christmas and spring break. Please contact Stephanie Ihler if you are interested in opening your home to one of our international cadets during future breaks.
Of course I have one more plug for our blankets.... we will have a table set up in DeKoven on Friday Nov 22 afternoon and again upon returning Monday Dec 2nd to sell blankets - get your holiday shopping done early!
Have a safe and restful Thanksgiving Break!
