I know it's been a few days since I have posted....just checking in quickly to say thank you to all of the volunteers, golfers, visitors, guests, families that came out to celebrate Fall Families Weekend at SJNMA. Everyone I spoke with at the school today said that this was one of the largest attended families weekend they can remember. It was very special moment out on the parade field Sunday when I looked back and scanned the audience to see the expansive crowd that had gathered to support our cadets. They did an excellent job and represented themselves and the school proudly! So many moving pieces that all fit together perfectly to make for a fantastic weekend ... they make it look easy but the planning and logistics are tremendously complex.
To each and every volunteer at the various activities leading up to and during the weekend: trivia quiz, golf outing, blanket sales, Parents Club table, luncheon greeters, kids room chaperons, the list goes on and on .... without you it would not have been possible. I am humbled by the warmth and generosity of spirit you all showed and continue to show and I thank you.
More updates on specific events and outcomes over the coming days but for tonight...I think we should all sit back, reflect, smile and say....job well done all! Deborah
